Type specimen: Collection of Dr. Braillon Beauvais unnumbered, a skull (skull with i1-i2,c-m3 (dex.) and i1,c-p2,p4-m2 (sin)). Its type locality is Grotte de Sète, which is in a Pliocene cave conglomerate in France.
