Type specimen: UM 41870, a partial skeleton (skull, dentary, and partial skeleton). Its type locality is SC-327, which is in a Clarkforkian lacustrine limestone in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at SC-327
