Type specimen: USNM 358651, a footprint. Its type locality is Culpeper Crushed Stone Quarry (upper), which is in a Lacian/Alaunian lacustrine - large siltstone/mudstone in the Bull Run Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Culpeper Crushed Stone Quarry (upper)
