Type specimen: Div. Geol. Min. 1412-R, A & B, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Manoel Mendes, Uberaba (BR-262, km 3.3), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Serra da Galga Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Manoel Mendes, Uberaba (BR-262, km 3.3)
