Type specimen: A.M.N.H. No. 3815, a mandible (left dentary). Its type locality is Hyopsodus Hill, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-herbivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (2: New Mexico, Wyoming collections)

• Paleocene of United States (3: Montana, Wyoming)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
