Type specimen: LACM no. 8927, a limb element (upper end of left coracoid). Its type locality is Pyramid Hill Sand Member grit zone, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Jewett Formation of California.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Pyramid Hill Sand Member grit zone
