Type specimen: Amer. Mus. No. 27893, a mandible (part of left lower jaw with M1 and M2). Its type locality is Bajo de la Palangana (upper levels), which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Koluel Kaike Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Bajo de la Palangana (upper levels)
