Type specimen: AMNH. 28525, a mandible (part of right lower jaw with M3). Its type locality is Canadon Hondo, Kibenikhoria Faunal Zone, which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Las Flores Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Canadon Hondo, Kibenikhoria Faunal Zone
