Taxonomy
Panopea anabarica was named by Kurushin (1992). Its type specimen is TsSGM 950/190, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Airkat Cape, Upper Anisian, Anabar River, Laptev Sea, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
