Taxonomy
Omanoselache halli was named by Koot and Cuny (2014). Its type specimen is GSC 135704, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jabal Safra, Block 3, collection 103C, which is in a Spathian slope limestone in Oman.
