Taxonomy
Cretalamna feldmanni was named by Hoganson et al. (2019). Its type specimen is UND-PC 15903, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NDGS L165, Bowman County, which is in a Maastrichtian coastal sandstone in the Fox Hills Formation of North Dakota.
