Cassioxylon variegatum

Taxonomy
Cassioxylon variegatum was named by Ramanujam (1960). It is not extant. Its type locality is Murattandichavadi, which is in a Neogene marginal marine horizon in India. It is the type species of Peltophoroxylon.

It was recombined as Peltophoroxylon variegatum by Mueller-Stoll and Mädel (1967), Lakhanpal et al. (1976).
