Taxonomy
Baurubatrachus santosdoroi was named by Muzzopappa et al. (2022). Its type specimen is MPMA 68-0002/11, a partial skeleton (Associated cranial andpostcranial elements preserved in a single sandstone block), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Catanduva (MPMA), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.
