Taxonomy
Audouliceras vyrystaykense was named by Stenshin et al. (2014). Its type specimen is MEF UIGU no. 182 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is level A12, Vyrystaikino, Kalinov Gully, which is in an Aptian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Ulyanovskiceras vyrystaykense by Delanoy and Baudouin (2023).
