| W. L. Crepet and C. P. Daghlian 1982 | Up to 5 cm long, sometimes branched spikes of bract subtended cymules each composed only of at least three staminate florets with at least three stamens each. Bracts are ovate and cupped. Pollen is tricolporate and prolate (26.9 x 20.6 micrometers average diam.) with lalongate pores. Exine is tectate-columellate and perforate. Exine ornamentation is a convoluted reticulum with striate muri. |
