Pondaungimys anomaluropsis

Taxonomy
Pondaungimys anomaluropsis was named by Dawson et al. (2003). Its type specimen is NMMP-KU 0213 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bahin 1, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar. It is the type species of Pondaungimys.
