Biarmiceras subtumarense
Taxonomy
Popanoceras subtumarense was named by Andrianov (1985). Its type specimen is YaF SO AN 55/574 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bezymyannyi Creek mouth, Ammonitovyi Creek, Sample 506, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Moguchan Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Biarmiceras subtumarense by Leonova et al. (2005).
