Taxonomy
Evazoum sirigui was named by Nicosia and Loi (2003). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is BBa2-1 to VI, BBa3-I, IV, VI. VII, XXVII, XXVIII, XXIII, XXXI, XXX, XXXII, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Lerici, La Spezie, which is in a Carnian fluvial sandstone/claystone in the Montemarcello Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Evazoum.
