Taxonomy
Kainomoyenisauropus ranivorus was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Likhoele tracksite (zone B/5), which is in a Pliensbachian terrestrial sandstone in the Clarens Formation of Lesotho.
