Paraprotopteryx gracilis
Taxonomy
Paraprotopteryx gracilis was named by Zheng et al. (2007). Its type specimen is Tianyu Natural Museum STM V001, a skeleton (complete articulated skeleton with feather impressions), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Fengning County [general], which is in a Hauterivian lacustrine siltstone in the Huajiying Formation of China. It is the type species of Paraprotopteryx.
