Taxonomy
Portlandia (Portlandella) euthynta was named by Woodring (1973). Its type specimen is USNM 646694, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Location 42i, Gatun Lake area [Bohio Fm], which is in an Oligocene coastal wackestone in the Bohio Formation of Panama.
