Futabasaurus suzukii (Futaba Suzuki Ryu)
Taxonomy
Futabasaurus suzukii was named by Sato et al. (2006). Its type specimen is NSM PV15025, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ohisa River (Futabasaurus type locality), which is in a Santonian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in the Tamayama Formation of Japan.
