Taxonomy
Echinalosia runnegari was named by Briggs (1998). Its type specimen is UQ F75256, a shell (Conjoined shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L5179, Nowra Air Base, which is in a Wordian coastal siliciclastic in the Berry Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Glabauria runnegari by Waterhouse and Shi (2010).
