Taxonomy
Worthenia complexa was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kosov quarry locality (Dlouhá Hora), Kopanina Fm, which is in a Ludlow deep subtidal limestone in the Kopanina Formation of Czechia.
It was recombined as Pleurotomaria (Worthenia) complexa by Perner (1907); it was recombined as Longstaffia complexa by Wagner (2023).
