Taxonomy
Stenopora spiculata was named by Crockford (1945). Its type specimen is Sydney Univ 5422 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eelah Road, Middlehope Parish, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Allandale Formation of Australia.
