Tetsaoceras hayesi

Taxonomy
Ceratites hayesi was named by McLearn (1948). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Talus east of Mile Post 378, Alaska Highway, which is in a Bithynian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Czekanowskites hayesi by McLearn (1969), Bychkov et al. (1976), Silberling and Nichols (1982), Dagis et al. (1996); it was recombined as Tetsaoceras hayesi by Tozer (1994); it was recombined as Stannakhites hayesi by Hounslow et al. (2008).
