Aphrosaurus furlongi
Taxonomy
Aphrosaurus furlongi was named by Welles (1943). Its type specimen is LACM 2748, a partial skeleton (postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACM CIT locality 316, which is in a Maastrichtian marine shale in the Moreno Formation of California. It is the type species of Aphrosaurus.
