Taxonomy
Polytholosia ramosa was named by Senowbari-Daryan and Reid (1987). It is not extant. Its type locality is Lime Peak reefs, which is in a Norian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Aksala Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Nevadathalamia ramosa by Senowbari-Daryan (1990).
