Lamarquesaurus cabazai

Taxonomy
Lamarquesaurus cabazai was named by Apesteguía and Rougier (2007). Its type specimen is MML-PV-42, a maxilla (right maxilla with 10 teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerro Tortuga, Bajo Trapalcó, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone/siltstone in the Allen Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Lamarquesaurus.
