Syringostroma foveolatum
Taxonomy
Syringostroma foveolatum was named by Girty (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cow pasture 0.6 km northwest of Knoxboro, which is in a Pragian reef, buildup or bioherm carbonate in the Deansboro Formation of New York.
It was recombined as Parallelostroma foveolatum by Stock (1988) and Stock (1997).
