Taxonomy
Prantlia was named by Pribyl (1946) [Sepkoski's age data: S Ldov-u D Gedi Sepkoski's reference number: 421]. It is not extant. Its type is Proetus longulus.

It was assigned to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Warburgellinae by Yuan et al. (2020).
