Holcorobeus vittatus
Taxonomy
Holcorobeus vittatus was named by Nikritin (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 3064/939, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Holcorobeus, Holcorobeus (Holcorobeus).
It was recombined as Holcorobeus (Holcorobeus) vittatus by Nikolajev (1992).
