Taxonomy
Cleiothyridina hayasakai was named by Tazawa (2010). Its type specimen is KMF1169A, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is KY1, Yamasuge quarry, Kuzu area, which is in a Kungurian carbonate limestone in the Nabeyama Formation of Japan.
