Pustulina was named by Quenstedt (1857) [Sepkoski's age data: J Tith-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Pustulina suevica.
It was assigned to Decapoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Erymidae by Schweitzer et al. (2010), Feldmann et al. (2015), Devillez et al. (2016), Schweitzer and Feldmann (2024), Charbonnier (2025).
