Protaxis chinensis
Taxonomy
Protaxis chinensis was named by Zhang (1989). Its type specimen is s82694, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection s (Shandong Provincial Museum), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.
