Bivetopsia plectilis
Taxonomy
Cancellaria (Bivetopsia) plectilis was named by Jung and Petit (1990). Its type specimen is NMB H 17317, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 1354 - Rio Cana [Gurabo Fm], which is in a Zanclean shallow subtidal siliciclastic in the Gurabo Formation of the Dominican Republic.
It was recombined as Bivetopsia plectilis by Landau et al. (2012).
