Taxonomy
Hemisinus (Longiverena) reticulosus was named by Vega and Perilliat (1992). It is not extant. Its type locality is IGM 2587 - Northwestern margin of Escondida syncline, which is in a Ypresian delta plain sandstone/siltstone in the Adjuntas Formation of Mexico.
