Calcitoryctes magnificus
Taxonomy
Calcitoryctes magnificus was named by Krell (2011). Its type specimen is EP 2704/00, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laetoli Locality 2, which is in a Zanclean terrestrial siliciclastic in the Upper Laetolil Beds Formation of Tanzania. It is the type species of Calcitoryctes.
