Mesotipula (Irenatipula) parvula

Taxonomy
Praearchitipula parvula was named by Kalugina (1985). Its type specimen is PIN 1255/232, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kubekovo village (PIN collection 1255), which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian lacustrine - large claystone in the Itat Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Mesotipula (Irenatipula).

It was recombined as Mesotipula (Mesotipula) parvula by Lukashevich (2009) and Gao et al. (2015); it was recombined as Mesotipula parvula by Gao et al. (2015); it was recombined as Mesotipula (Irenatipula) parvula by Kopeć et al. (2020).
