It was recombined as Amphiperas (Neosimnia) spelta by Sacco (1894); it was recombined as Ovula spelta by Harmer et al. (1925); it was recombined as Simnia spelta by Dolin and Ledon (2002); it was recombined as Neosimnia spelta by Fischer (1884) and Van Dingenen et al. (2016).
