Taxonomy
Vernonaspis bamberi was named by Denison (1963). Its type specimen is PU 17081, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beaver River, which is in a Silurian marine dolomite in Canada.

R. H. Denison 1963The length of the dorsal shield is 43 to 46 mm. The dentine ridges are 5 to 6 per millimeter. The posterior edges of the shields are smoothly convex, without a median lobe.
