Myxineidus gononorum
Taxonomy
Myxineidus gononorum was named by Poplin et al. (2001). Its type specimen is MNHN-SOT-II 98587a,b, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sainte-Louis pit, Montceau-les-Mines (Bailly coll), which is in a Stephanian B deltaic mudstone in France. It is the type species of Myxineidus.
