Ichnomylax kurnai

Ichnomylax kurnai was named by Long et al. (1994) [Mandible with bulbous, foot-shaped prearticular tooth plate with four tooth ridges, and with few marginal enamel-covered teeth in the first two rows; lingual furrow and bone posterior and posterolateral to the tooth plate with numerous denticles, many of which are elongate; median symphysis approximately 66% of the mandibular length.]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is NMV P188479, a mandible. Its type locality is Ichnomylax-type locality, which is in a Pragian/Emsian marine limestone in the Bell Point Limestone Formation of Australia.
