Vincent and Storrs (2019) [Moderately sized plesiosaur with the following unique combination of characters: constricted rostrum; sharp, narrow crest extending longitudinally along the premaxilla rostral midline; premaxillae and maxillae in contact posterior to the external nares; diamond-shaped vomer anterior to the internal nares; auxiliary palatal foramina anterior to the internal nares; pterygoid-internal naris contact; anterior interpterygoid vacuity bordered anteriorly by the pterygoids; reinforced and keeled, spatulate mandibular symphysis with four pairs of alveoli; first premaxillary alveolus small; single cervical rib articular facet; cervical centra slightly wider than long and high; cervical zygapophyses with width greater than that of centrum; long ischium relative to its width; humerus recurved and as long as femur; epipodials longer than wide; mid-shaft constriction along the preaxial margin of the radius.].
