Taxonomy
Burmomiles blixenae was named by Fanti and Damgaard (2019). Its type specimen is ALDC0530/ALD.Bu.206, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Damgaard collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
