Beneckeia buchi

Taxonomy
Ammonites (Ceratites) buchi was named by Alberti (1860). It is not extant. Its type locality is Lędziny, Opole, which is in an Aegean/Bithynian carbonate dolomite in the Röt Formation of Poland. It is the type species of Beneckeia.

It was recombined as Beneckeia buchii by Fritsch (1902); it was recombined as Beneckeia buchi by von Mojsisovics (1882), Wagner (1891), Spath (1934), Siegel et al. (2022).
