Zacatzontli cotobrusensis
Taxonomy
Zacatzontli cotobrusensis was named by Valerio et al. (2022). Its type specimen is CFM-2916, a mandible (posterior fragment of a left mandible with mf2-mf3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is San Gerardo de Limoncito, which is in a Hemphillian deltaic conglomerate in the Curré Formation of Costa Rica.
