Morohasaurus kamitakiensis
Taxonomy
Morohasaurus kamitakiensis was named by Ikeda et al. (2022). Its type specimen is MNHAH D1049652, a mandible (nearly complete left dentary with eleven tooth positions, containing two complete, one nearly com- plete, and two incomplete teeth.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kamitaki Egg Quarry, Tamba City, which is in an Albian floodplain mudstone in the Ohyamashimo Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Morohasaurus.
