Taxonomy
Callucinopsis dalmiana was named by Kendrick and Vartak (2007). Its type specimen is ARI G2906/1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Odiyam locality 3, which is in a Cenomanian carbonate limestone in the Karai Formation of India.
