Taxonomy
Felis pamiri was named by Ozansoy (1965). Its type specimen is MNHN. F.TRQ1212, a partial skull (snout frag- ment with left I2-C and P3-M1, right I1-C and mesial part of P3, plus left and right mandibles virtually complete except for most of the incisors an), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Miopanthera pamiri by Geraads and Peigne (2017).
